Senior Ministry Mission Statement
The Senior Adult Ministry (age 55 and up) of the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church will provide leadership and activities that will minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the senior members of the congregation and the community at-large.
1. SAM will provide support through activities/programs for the spiritual growth, inspiration, and encouragement for its members and congregants at-large.
2. SAM will provide at least two programs to provide information to seniors concerning health, financial, legal, and other everyday matters.
3. SAM will celebrate the "Seniorness" of it's members with at least three recognition and/or fellowship activities.
4. SAM will increase it's membership by five new members.
No cost to join
55 Years old and up (Spouse can be honorary member if less than 55 years old)
Exciting monthly meeting (often with guest speakers on topics of interest to seniors)
Luncheons both in-house and out
Travel to exciting places for shopping and dining
Senior of the month recognition
Super Senior Saturday
Meeting held each 4th Saturday (10:30 - 12:30)
